REDD est un groupe de rock basé sur Rouen qui écrit en anglais.

Depuis la création de REDD, le processus de création a toujours fonctionné avec ce mot d’ordre :
« voilà la chanson du jour, enregistrons-la ».
La formule a fonctionné à merveille comme en témoigne le journal de bord de soundcloud.
En 2019, le quatuor de l’époque a accouché d’E.P. Songs For A Cloud précédé par un single disponible sur les plateformes numériques.
La version physique disponible sur reddislive.bandcamp.com regroupe le premier single « Too Late for Hero » et « A Life Like This » ainsi qu’un bonus caché.
« A Life Like This » a été écrite en collaboration avec l’artiste écossais Joe Kane qui mène une fructueuse carrière au sein de The Poppermost et joue une fabuleuse incarnation de Paul McCartney dans de nombreuses formations d’outre-manche ainsi qu’en France au sein des The Love Beatles.
Les chansons sont souvent inspirées par le rock britannique et entre autre par un obscur groupe de Liverpool… Passée cette blague éculée, les influences sont multiples et n’importe quel auditeur pourra s’amuser à retrouver les références qui sont souvent assez transparentes.
À partir de 2022, REDD est composé de :
– Fabien Cousin (The Roady Blues Band) à la basse et au chant,
– Frédéric Fugen (The Beatles’ Artifact) à la guitare, au clavier et au chant,
– Greg Fugen (Joad, The Cashtoners, The Beatles’ Artifact) à la batterie et au chant.
Ce trio de musiciens se retrouvent après avoir joué ensemble en 1993… C’est donc quasiment une reformation !
Pour 2025, les chansons continuent de s’accumuler quasiment autant que pour un double blanc… Néanmoins, depuis le retour de Baptiste « The Beast » Cottereau aux six cordes et… au pur talent, nous avons hâte de partager nos créations sur scène.

Since the creation of REDD, the creative process has always been based on the motto:
‘Here’s the song of the day, let’s record it’.
The formula has worked wonders, as the soundcloud log shows.
In 2019, the quartet gave birth to E.P. Songs For A Cloud, forthcome by a single available on digital platforms. The physical version available on reddislive.bandcamp.com features the first single ‘Too Late for Hero’ and ‘A Life Like This’ as well as a hidden bonus.
‘A Life Like This’ was written in collaboration with Scottish artist Joe Kane, who has a successful career as part of The Poppermost and plays a fabulous incarnation of Paul McCartney in a number of bands across the Channel, as well as in France with The Love Beatles.
His songs are often inspired by British rock, including an obscure band fromLiverpool…
Apart from this hackneyed joke, the influences are many and any listener can have fun finding the references, which are often quite transparent.
Since 2022, REDD is :

– Greg Fugen (Joad, The Cashtoners, The Beatles’Artifact) on drums and vocals.
This trio of musicians has reunited after having played together in 1993… So it’s almost like a reformation !
In 2025, the plan is for the songs to continue to pile up almost as much as for a double white… However, since Baptiste ‘The Beast’ Cottereau has returned on the six strings and… with pure talent, we are eager to share our creations on stage.
